Setting Up And Configuring Gmail To Send And Receive Mail On iPhone

Gmail is used for sending emails via the internet. Gmail is developed by Google. It is a very easy and simple to use application which can be used for official as well as unofficial purposes. The emails over Gmail can be sent with or without attachments. It can be downloaded on the iPhone or iPad by visiting the app store.


There are different ways to send and receive emails using your Gmail account on iPhone. 

  • Launch the Settings app on iPhone. 
  • Scroll down and tap on Accounts & Passwords
  • You will see the list of all existing email accounts on your iPhone. 
  • From the bottom of this list, tap Add Account
  • A list of all email options shows up where you can find iCloud, Exchange, Google, AOL, Outlook, etc.
  • select your Email provider.
  • Enter your Email address and password.
  • Tap Next and wait for Mail to verify your account. 
  • Choose information from your email account, like Contacts or Calendars.
  • Tap Save.

The Gmail iOS app brings the familiar Gmail web app experience to your iPhone or iPad. Whether this is a good thing or a bad thing depends on how you feel about Gmail. The iOS app nicely integrates with Google's other services like Google Drive, Google Docs, and Google Sheets.
